Jean has been a dancer from a young age, and through years of intense training, her body
accumulated several injuries that lingered over time. It was through Pilates that she
discovered a powerful method for rehabilitation, injury recovery, and improved
performance. This transformative experience led her to pursue a deeper understanding of
Pilates and its benefits, not only for herself but for others facing similar challenges.
Now, as a dedicated Pilates instructor at TSquared Pilates, Jean combines her passion
for movement with her expertise in injury recovery, helping clients achieve better
mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Through her Pilates sessions, she is
committed to guiding individuals to enhance their physical health, prevent injuries, and
support their fitness goals.

Senior Pilates Instructor
Jean has been a dancer from a young age, and through years of intense training, her body accumulated
several injuries that lingered over time. It was through Pilates that she discovered a powerful
method for rehabilitation, injury recovery, and improved performance. This transformative experience
led her to pursue a deeper understanding of Pilates and its benefits, not only for herself but for
others facing similar challenges.
Now, as a dedicated Pilates instructor at TSquared Pilates, Jean combines her passion for movement
with her expertise in injury recovery, helping clients achieve better mobility, strength, and
overall well-being. Through her Pilates sessions, she is committed to guiding individuals to enhance
their physical health, prevent injuries, and support their fitness goals.
Jean has been practicing and teaching Pilates for over 10 years, dedicating her career to helping others achieve their physical wellness goals. With a deep passion for movement and a strong foundation in Pilates, she offers both group classes and private one-on-one sessions tailored to meet the needs of each individual. Throughout her journey, Jean has worked with a diverse range of clients, helping them improve their flexibility, strength, and overall mobility.
In the past 5 years, Jean has expanded her expertise, specialising in several areas including Pre-natal and Post-natal Pilates, Elderly Pilates, Sports Performance, Dance Performance, and Post-Rehabilitation Pilates. This advanced specialisation allows her to offer targeted, personalised training that addresses the unique needs of each client, whether they’re recovering from injury, preparing for childbirth, or enhancing their sports or dance performance. Her broad range of skills ensures that Jean can support individuals at every stage of life and fitness, empowering them to move more freely, safely, and confidently.
Jean understands the importance of listening to her clients, recognising that they are the experts of their own pain. By carefully noting where they experience discomfort, she can identify the muscles or joints that require attention for rehabilitation and targeted exercise.
Jean introduces modifications, progressions, and regressions based on each client’s capabilities, ensuring that exercises are appropriately challenging without compromising safety or effectiveness.
Jean is dedicated to regularly updating her knowledge and skills. By continually learning, she ensures that her clients benefit from the latest techniques and approaches, enhancing the effectiveness of her treatments and training sessions.
Jean’s approach to Pilates is deeply rooted in customisation and adaptability. She understands that while Pilates exercises are highly effective, each individual’s body and needs are unique. As such, she tailors exercises to suit each client’s specific abilities and challenges. For example, an advanced prenatal client may not be able to lie down to perform certain leg exercises, while a postnatal client might.
Jean addresses these differences by introducing modifications, progressions, and regressions, ensuring that every client can safely and effectively perform movements in a way that suits their body. This personalised approach allows Jean to optimise results while maintaining safety and comfort for each individual, whether they are recovering from an injury, managing pregnancy, or working toward fitness goals.

A couple of years ago, Jean worked with an elderly client, 82 years old, who had recently undergone surgery for an Artificial Cardiac Pacemaker implantation. This client struggled with stability, walking, and getting up from a chair. After months of post-rehabilitation Pilates, Jean helped him regain the ability to take slow walks in the garden with the aid of a walking stick, marking a significant achievement in restoring basic mobility and improving his quality of life.
Jean takes pride in her ability to help clients improve their body condition, relieve pain, enhance mobility, and elevate their fitness levels. She considers these outcomes her greatest personal achievements, knowing that she’s made a meaningful impact on her clients' well-being.
In February 2023, Jean began working with a client suffering from Psoriatic Arthritis, which caused intense pain in the small joints, including her shoulders, upper and lower back, and knees. After one and a half years of dedicated rehabilitation, by November 2024, the client had made remarkable progress—recovering from back pain, managing shoulder and knee discomfort, and enjoying a significantly better quality of life. Jean continues to guide her through regular one-on-one Pilates sessions, supporting her on her ongoing fitness and rehabilitation journey.
