Hi, my name is Leong. I am 57 this year. I am a Safety Officer; working in a Facilities Management Company.
My weight fluctuates between 70 – 71. Body fat is about 6%.
Twenty-three years ago, I developed knee pain while preparing for my marathon. After which, I didn’t participate in any running, I didn’t take up running, didn’t walk, or play any sports, and; my body wasn’t getting very well. I happened to come across TSquared Lab, I think it was on LinkedIn or Facebook, and then it was near my workplace, so I decided to sign up and see if they make me run again.
Yes, definitely. I was able to run sometime in August this year and it felt fantastic.
I didn’t face many challenges except for a back injury in the army days, so the back pain kept coming back every year, so that was the main struggle and challenge I had. And I decided to sign up with TSquared Lab not just for the running; but also to help me see whether they can help me improve my back.
I am able to run again. I was so proud that I could run again sometime in August. I achieved it in one click, so I was extremely happy.
Dimi is a fantastic Coach, and I hope he stays here as long as he can. He has designed a program especially for me and I am very proud to say that he helped me regain my running again.
The program he designed is specifically for me with some of the exercises similar to the guys are doing, which suits me a lot. The program is very simple and easy to follow. It starts with ease and later on gets intense, but I always believed the thing doesn’t challenge you, doesn’t grow you.
I joined TSquared Lab in February this year. And, sometime in July, I saw the changes coming in. I don’t have to wear a size 35 anymore.
The facility is fantastic. I have visited a few gyms; and I didn’t like them. But when I stepped in here, I liked the way it was. The layout is not so commercialised. It is more like family, very cosy. The people are nice; anyone that you see greet each other.
Don’t think much because there are people here who will tell you what you need, and how they can help you to improve your lifestyle. You can have a trial and can decide whether you want to join. Don’t think so much.
It’s been a great eight months over here at TSquared Lab. I have improved a lot in terms of my health and my strength. I am so glad I can run again and, more importantly, I don’t have to wear size 35 anymore. It’s now a size 32 and a half.
At the age of 57, Leong was open to learning things; about his fitness and body. With the help of his Coach, Leong understood the depth of his knee injury and worked closely towards it's recovery.
Leong had a training program customized to his needs and goals. He saw that the initial stage of the program was simple and easy to follow and; gradually became excruciating and intense. But throughout the time, he maintained his consistency.
Leong’s Personal Trainer Dimi, was extremely supportive and considerate of his fitness goal. While designing his training program, he considered Leong’s age and body limitations and through the result-oriented program, he made Leong run again in six months.
Despite visiting several fitness facilities before coming to TSquared Lab, Leong was hopeful; that he would break the spell of injured knee and back pain. He maintained discipline towards his fitness routine. He ensured he followed every instruction given by this Coach.
