While we are focused on chasing the ideal body, having a balanced state of mind is a quintessential aspect of health and wellness that needs to be cultivated as well. This pillar brings forth authentic dimensions that align the mind, body and soul.
Yoga is not only a form of physical exercise that can keep you fit and get you into shape. It is also a holistic way of life that allows you to unite the body and mind, therefore reaching a deeper state of awareness and boundlessness. It is about living in the moment.
While some look at yoga as physical exercise, it is more than that. When you fully accept your body and mind during practice, you enter a dimension of yoga that allows you to perceive life in that moment. Meditative yoga is practiced three times in a day: one during brahma muhurta - an auspicious period that begins before sunrise; one during the noon; and one in the evening before sunset. A practice frequency of three times a week is recommended to keep the body active and engaged; the mind clear and focused; and oneself spiritually aligned.
