What is your name, age, and profession?

My name is Miyako, I am 37 years old and I work in one of the Big 4 consulting firms doing sustainability work for financial institutions.

What made you sign up for the TSquared Lab Program?

So, I have 2 daughters, and after having the second one especially, I struggled to be back where I was. I felt physically weak or mentally disturbed then my friend and I found a wonderful ad on Instagram and I was really moved so I forced myself to sign up and this is where I am today.

What were the main challenges you faced before joining TSquared Lab?

One of the main challenges was finding the time for myself and fitting into a schedule especially when you have a full-time job and you are a mother but the great thing about the gym was that it was flexible timing wise and once you have the regular commitment or a fixed schedule it really helps continue my workout.

What were the health challenges you had before joining TSquared Lab?

There were no major health challenges apart from not training well and not having enough muscles to sustain my body or perhaps lack of sleep. However, once I got into regular exercise, those things were compensated for, and I feel much stronger now.

How much weight or body fat have you lost throughout the journey?

Since I have started the training program, I have lost 7kg of body weight and 8% body fat. Thanks to my coach Nurwana for her guidance and continuous push.

How has the weight loss made you feel?

Of course, it makes me feel good about myself and also gaining physical strength is great. It helps me stabalise my mood and it has become a part of my routine to do the exercise not as much as I wish to do but I would like to continue this regime to stay healthy and strong.

When did you start noticing changes in your body after joining TSqaured Lab?

I think 2 months into the program after coming to the gym regularly once or twice a week I started to see changes in my body first in terms of body fat and then the body weight but most importantly the shape of the body has really changed and that made me even more motivated to work out regularly.

How did your journey change your daily lifestyle?

In terms of lifestyle, my food habits have changed because coming to the gym is not only about doing the workouts, my coach Nurwana gave me detailed instructions and information about nutrition. Initial two to three months we were constantly closely monitoring what I was eating throughout the day and the urge to have unhealthy food like ice cream has really gone down because it is the mental change after having the right information that has really helped.

What changes have you noticed in your dress size since you started this program?

After the pregnancy, I was wearing size M but after joining the training program I think it went down to size XS so I had to change my entire wardrobe as the clothes that I had after the pregnancy were no longer used but it was a very refreshing change.

Which is your proudest moment?

There are a lot of moments that I am proud of but most importantly the people around me noticing how I have evolved and complimenting me has really made me feel proud of myself.

What is the biggest change that you have noticed in yourself after joining this program?

The biggest change I would say is the shape of my upper body, of course, the weight loss is one thing but the arms and the shoulders I had never seen this shape of my body before joining this program and this is definitely the result of the personal training.

Tell us something about your trainer.

I have been very lucky to have my trainer Nurwana from the very beginning. Her professional knowledge is very good in terms of nutrition and weight training and she really adjusted to my character as in when I needed the push she pushed me and when I did not feel like training hard or was tired she adjusted the training program in that manner for the day. She is also very kind and like a good friend to me, I can put my trust in her. I blindly followed her instructions and got the desired results.

What would you tell someone who is unsure of joining TSquared Lab?

I would highly recommend everyone to join this program because having a trainer who supports me in terms of commitment and achieving results is really wonderful throughout the journey.

Any final words?

I absolutely enjoyed my 8 months of journey at TSquared Lab not only in terms of what I achieved in terms of body fat or body weight but I think I found a really nice place to come back regularly and commit to. My trainer is amazing and so is the facility that has helped me on this journey.

1. Miyako had a clear goal:

Before starting the training program, Miyako was clear about her fitness goal and the results that she wanted to achieve. She wanted to lose weight and get back to shape post-pregnancy and take some time out for herself.

2. Miyako educated himself:

Since Miyako wanted to lose weight she took her trainer's help in terms of nutrition along with her training. She kept a close eye on what she was having and kept her cravings at bay.

3. Miyako trusted her trainer’s process:

Miyako always considered her coach as a friend, and she trusted her coach blindly with the training process. Nurwana helped her with how to do exercises the right way, and what her meals should be like throughout the day so that she is able to achieve the goal.

4. Miyako was enjoying the change:

Miyako wanted to get back in shape post-pregnancy with her training program and she was able to achieve her desired results and lose 7kg of weight and 8% of body fat and reduce her dress size from M to XS.
