What is your name, age and profession?

Hi, my name is Paula, I just turned 40 and I am a consultant by profession.

What made you sign up for the TSquared Lab program?

I joined TSquared Lab because of a friend of mine, he knew that I was looking for a new place to train, so he suggested that I should come and check it out.

What were the main challenges or struggles you had with regards to your health and or your fitness before starting at TSquared Lab Program?

So, I never really had any issues before I started training and as a matter of fact, I have always been a healthy, sporty person, but I gave birth about 17 months ago to my first son and I was a bit worried about what it was going to look like to workout again. So, I thought it was better to leave it to a professional and be supervised to also get some milestones which is always that I wanted to achieve and that's when I met Renee and decided to just bite the bullet.

How much weight and body fat have you lost and what is the best takeaway from TSquared Lab?

Overall, I have lost 7 kg body weight and 6% body fat which is great and I am super happy about it.

What is your proudest achievement so far?

I guess I never really knew how much weight I could lift before I started training with Renee, as I was very much focused on cardio at the fitness level but I never really knew that I could do certain exercises like push ups or planks, so the fact that I could do these with her is quite surprising and to me it is actually one of the things that I am proud of.

How are the workouts at TSquared Lab?

The workouts at TSquared Lab are great, super fun and different. Every time, I come in Renee makes sure the routine is dynamic and different which is what I am looking at so that I don't get bored, so overall, I would say that they are great.

What was it like, making changes to your lifestyle, training, nutrition and how easy was it to follow?

So, it was not difficult at all, but I think that has to do a lot with the fact that I had a very strong team behind me, obviously headed by Renee. It was very structured, she was always there to give me guidance, she made it sound easy as well which when you are trying to do a transformation like this, I would say is key to succeed and that is why we are here and it's pretty enjoyable.

How long before you started seeing some changes in your body?

I started noticing changes about a month into the training so it was relatively quick but I think we really work hard for it so I am very happy with that.

How has your coach helped you along the journey?

My coach has been my greatest cheerleader. So, I am really grateful that I got to train with Renee, got to know her and I consider her a friend now.

How is your relationship with each other?

Paula: We are friends.

Renee: Yes, we are friends, we developed this strong relationship, we have a good record in exchanging information about exercises, about the food and then we developed a bond of talking about our everyday life as well.

Paula: Yes, I would say that our relationship is not strictly professional, we talk about our everyday life as well, as to what we are doing, our families and everything else.

What do you like the most about your coach?

Paula: What I like the most about Renee is how positive she always is and she is always very focused. So, it doesn’t matter you know, if I come and I am maybe super busy and thinking about many things, she always manages to keep me very grounded and while doing so she is always very positive and just brings a lot of good energy into my working out space.

Renee: I think my energy reflected on her. She is jolly, high energy in the gym so training her here is fun. I don’t even see the time is running out.

What is your favourite exercise?

So, I would say that my favourite exercise right now is chin ups, just because I was never able to do one and Renee taught me and it’s been a bit of a challenge to see how many more can I do.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your coach?

I would give her a complete 10 just because her workouts are so full of energy, it’s super enjoyable to come here everyday that I do and she is a great company.

Any final words for the gym?

The gym is great and every time I come, there is such a great atmosphere and everyone is so happy, friendly and welcoming so I felt at home from the beginning. So, I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking to start their transformation journey to start it here, because it is just a great place to be.

What would you say to someone who is unsure of joining TSquared Lab?

I would just say, don't think about it, hurry up, it is the best investment you would make in the long term and you should do it for yourself and your health.

Any final words for your coach?

Thank you for guiding me through this process, thank you for being there for me and I hope we can continue to do this for a while.

1. Paula had a clear expectation from the program:

Paula was clear that she wanted to get trained under a professional as she was getting back to training 17 months after giving birth, so she felt that getting trained under a professional would be perfect so that she could achieve the desired milestones.

2. Paula was consistent:

Paula had also been active and her commitment increased with herself and TSquared Lab when she noticed the difference in her body in the first month itself. She enjoyed her workouts and her journey so, she stuck around and reduced 7 kgs of body weight and 6% of body fat.

3. Paula had support from her Personal Trainer:

Paula considered her coach Renee like a friend and with her support and guidance she could achieve her desired results. The only hurdle they faced was initially her form so Renee designed the program in such a way that Paula could do the exercises in the correct form and notice the changes within the first month of her transformation journey itself.

4. Paula was happy with the diversity in her training program:

With the noticeable changes in Paula’s strength and capability to lift more weight from week to week, Renee made changes in her workouts to provide more diversity in the program, and she adapted well to all the changes her coach made in her training program as she was enjoying the different types of workouts and not getting bored throughout her fitness journey.
