Hi, I’m Rajesh, 41 and in the Fintech Industry.
I have the honour of being trained by Firdauz for the past three years. Done a couple of transformations but for this specific one, I have dropped 16 kilos in the last 4 months and about 12% body fat.
I have done a few transformations throughout my life and the 20's were a lot about aesthetics and in the 30’s it was more about strength. As I entered my 40’s I perceived this transformation and wanted to bring the best version of myself and I think it’s my best avatar where I focus not just on one aspect but on strength, stamina, being fit, flexible, mobile and also being able to pursue my passion like mountaineering. So, I think pretty much this is the most intense, that I have pursued without necessarily lagging on any specific aspect and also how you can imbibe this fitness as part of your life, that’s something been very hard as well once the transformation is complete but I think that’s why I feel this transformation journey is unique in many ways.
I have seen a lot of fitness centres before and TSquared is great because of its form, which is not just the facility that is world class but the trainers and especially Firdauz is more than just a trainer, there are a lot of knowledgeable people but to be somebody so focused in someone’s personal goals to have that sort of mentorship and the whole management who make it like a really great place to come in, defocus from all the stress in your life and this is unique because I have been the fastest ever, strongest ever and as I said my flexibility has improved drastically. I focus a lot on my lower body especially considering I like climbing mountains so we have worked a lot on our weakness and we did a lot of high intensity training and flexibility movements and stretching we incorporated those in all our workouts. So, the last 4-5 months have been the most gruelling but the most satisfying and couldn’t have done it without TSquared and specially Firdauz’ partnership.
My back has always been my strongest even in the past but I think the ones which I focused the most on are my quads and hamstrings. I have never deadlifted or squatted as much as I have done now and can easily do 200 floors and things which I haven’t done before. So, my lower body has improved in the strength, size and overall fitness level drastically. So, I am most proud about that.
We went through not the traditional training, we did have a bulking phase, we focused on strength as I said we were pretty clear about the goals it’s not just about the aesthetic side of transformation but to have a complete fit profile. So, that’s why it took a bit longer 4-5 months and the first 2 months we were not necessarily focusing on getting shredded immediately, but to build a solid base with strength, with mobility to be injury free, to get all the compound movements very strong ones so the visible aspects came only in the later half towards the second half of it but first 2 months were a lot on the strength game and to build stamina as well.
Today I am heading to the himalayas right after a few hours, it’s the perfect way to end the transformation. What I have learnt in my profession as well, something called transfer learning where the principles, the baseline methodology is that you learn in one domain how you can seamlessly transfer into the other aspect of life and for me that’s why this fitness, this program that I pursued with TSquuared and environment they provided is very important for me because I always felt there is a strong correlation when my physical aspect of the life and the fitness is at its peak I can bring in the best when it comes to my family, my profession or most importantly to pursue my passion and specifically with mountaineering lot of it comes when you gotta be meticulous in your planning and manage your resources, you got to be looking into other aspects not just physical aspect you got to be able to do more cardio, be able to perform at higher altitudes, be very strong in your core and lower body but also be able to read and absorb how your body is reacting to different challenges and adapt and as I said we focused a lot on the lower body and I did a lot of cardio which my trainer Firdauz prepared for me outside on incline, uphill, prowlers, lunges, walking, and many more and focused on the core. And as I said mentally what this training prepares me in terms of the focus, the planning aspect. I think I can bring all that when climbing the mountain and everything is about partnership, here it is with my trainer and mentor Firdauz and in mountains with the Sherpas, where you listen to them and they are the experts and you have to be disciplined to follow that. So, I think I can learn a lot from here and transfer to the other aspects of my life.
I’m being honest, I have seen a lot of fitness, transformation programs, but this is absolutely unique. The first thing that will strike you is the whole culture. About this place you are not under pressure you can forget about it, the people here push you but not necessarily because they want results or sales. It's genuinely to see a positive impact in you and not everyone’s goals have to be the same and not everyone should be ready. I have introduced so many friends to, so many friends who workout and each of them have their own unique challenges and goals. So, this place is fantastic because the facility is all inspiring but there are a lot of fitness centres who could potentially provide that but you have a world class fitness centre combined with trainers who act as your mentor, your best friends with that culture the management who really takes care of you and they make the program. The place is not too crowded. They really go very far to accommodate your challenges, your priorities so I think I have never seen anything like this and I wouldn't hesitate to introduce this because just like I saw positive impact and not just in my physical but as I said in all aspects of my life. I am sure anybody who joins this program is going to experience the same.
Like in any collaboration it’s all about partnership here and it starts with absolute trust and Firdauz has done it himself I means he is a National Body Champion, he is fantastic and everybody knows that but when you are a coach, you know I absolutely trust him, he is open, he takes in my inputs, he is naturally that sort of person where you could confide your challenges and workout a solution I mean I could have never done this without that sort of collaboration, it’s just not in the gym, it’s literally 24 hours constantly when I am on travels when I am not here when I am going off track, how to bring it back so it’s a total partnership and I’m absolutely honoured to be coached by Firdauz and I truly enjoyed and relished this opportunity.
Rajesh has gone through various transformations before, however this time around his goal was Himalayan expedition. His learning therefore was more intense just like his training. He had to learn about physical aspects, cardio workouts, core and lower back strengthening exercises which will help him sustain himself in the higher altitudes.
Rajesh has been very consistent about his transformations since he was in his 20’s. With the changing age, his transformations became more intense and challenging. But he was consistently challenging himself and pushing to get a better version of himself.
Rajesh’s goal was well defined, he knew the exact result he wanted from this training. Firdauz on the other end, was on the same page as Rajesh. Their partnership was complimenting and so was the workout chalked for Rajesh. Firdauz trained Rajesh outside on incline, uphill, prowlers, lunges, walking, and many more and focused on the core. For Rajesh, it was all about partnership and it started with Firdauz 100%.
Rajesh knowledge about his body’s ability and limitations to train was impeccable. His partnership with Firdauz was such that he could confide in Firdauz, and they would work out a solution together which would have inputs from Rajesh as well.
We often see that the clients want to attain a transformed body in as short a time as possible. But the way Rajesh’s training program was designed, for the first two months, he didn’t focus on getting shredded immediately. He patiently kept training to build a solid base with strength, with mobility to be injury free and to build his stamina.
