My name is Sammuel a.k.a Sam, I am 40 years old this year and I work in the banking sector.

What made you sign up to the TSquared Lab Program?

About a year and a half ago, I decided to work on my physique and I have known Firdauz before so I connected with him as to how I can progress on this personal training journey which is why I signed up to the TSquared Lab Program.

What were the main challenges you faced before joining TSquared Lab?

Before joining the TSqaured Lab I struggled with my form and my diet. A lot of times, I felt I am trapped in this vicious cycle where I start a diet but I am not able to sustain it and I go ahead and eat whatever I want to. So I felt I needed someone to hold me accountable which is why TSquared Lab has been great for me, because after joining TSquared Lab my form has improved tremendously, I know what to eat, I have got guidance on the macro intake and also tips on how can I sustain this diet. I have my cheat days where I can eat whatever I want to as long as I maintain a calorie deficit.

What is the best takeaway you have had from TSquared Lab?

The best takeaway that I have got from TSquared Lab is not knowing my limit. I have always thought that I have pushed myself to the limit but once I started to train with TSquared Lab I came to know that I can do more, I can push more and I have got Firdauz here who tells me what to do and he always pushes me to do better.

What is your proudest achievement so far?

My proudest achievement so far at TSquared Lab is physically feeling bigger, which is what I wanted. Seeing myself in the mirror and with the regular measurements done at TSquared Lab I am able to see the progress I have made so far.

How are the workouts at TSquared Lab?

The workouts at TSquared Lab are intense but at the same time it is pushing myself to the limit so every workout I know where to end which my personal best and Firdauz would always tell me to go one rep at a time and guide me as to when to stop and I feel that because of that I am able to push myself to the limit.

How would you describe the program your coach designed for you?

So my coach designed my program to cater to what I wanted and that is muscle growth so the program is clear, concise and right to the point.

How was it like making changes in your lifestyle and do you think it was worth it?

Changing my lifestyle before joining the program at TSquared Lab was difficult, because there was no one to hold me accountable for so after joining the program I have someone to hold me accountable for what I eat and for me to progress on a weekly basis in terms of the weights I carry.

What changes have you noticed in your body after starting the program?

So, I started noticing changes in my body after I looked at myself in the mirror. There were times when I looked into the mirror and I could not believe that it was me, it took me a few seconds to realise how much I have grown or how much I have achieved and I am very grateful that my trainer has pushed me to that limit.

How has your coach helped you along the journey?

My coach has helped me along the journey by being there for me especially during heavy weight lifting. I am confident that I am able to lift heavier weights when I know he is there to spot me and he knows where my limit is so I don't stop until I hear the last rep from him, which is when I really agree that it is my last rep.

Any words for TSquared Lab and its people?

What I like about TSquared Lab is the environment it has. There is a strong sense of community where everyone has the same mindset, the training staff is very friendly and the studio itself is very bright and airy and the equipment is very new which is something that I like in the gym.

What would you say to someone who is unsure of joining TSquared Lab?

If you are unsure about joining TSquared Lab, I would say take the leap of faith. I always believe that we live life only once, for me personally I want to look my absolute best and I could not have gone through this journey without the professional support and guidance from TSquared Lab.

How has it been for you to have Firdauz as your trainer?

When I first started I told myself I wanted to be like Firdauz. I get along with him really well which is very important and I am very happy that he pushed me to my limit with every session, without him I could not push myself and that is the reason why I could not see progress for the longest time.

Any final words for your coach?

Thank you so much for pushing my limits and believing what I could achieve.Your positive words of encouragement and telling me to go rep by rep and slowly progressively increasing my weights helped me achieve my goals.

1. Sam had a clear goal:

Before starting the training program, Sam was clear about his fitness goal and the results that he wanted to achieve. He wanted to grow his muscles and get leaner to improve his physique.

2. Sam trusted his trainer’s process:

Sam always considered his coach as a friend, and he trusted his coach with the training process. Firdauz pushed his limits and helped him with how to do exercises the right way,made him feel safe and at the same time gave him the confidence go beyond his limits.

3. Sam was enjoying the change:

Sam wanted to gain muscles and be regular with a training program and a diet. After starting his training program at TSquared Lab he could see visible changes in his body and he was extremely happy with the way he looked and the progress he made with the training program.
