What is your name, age, and profession?

My name is Sascha, I am 34 years old and I work in Finance.

What made you choose to train at TSquared Lab?

The genuine customer care made me choose to train at TSquared Lab. On the very first day when I did a free consultation, I really felt that they really invested time in understanding my needs and finding a program that would really work for me and the warm welcome every time I come to train here really helps, it puts me at ease so its easy for me to come back every training day.

When you started at TSquared Lab what goals did you want to achieve, how useful was your coach and TSquared team in helping you achieve this goal?

When I started to train at TSquared Lab my goal was to lose weight, get lean, and have more muscle definition. I have been training for around 4 years on my own but I struggled to get lean and in addition to that I wanted to learn the proper forms in executing the exercises because I was told that I had a misaligned spine by a small degree so I was worried that if I do it the wrong way it will actually worsen. So the training with the trainer at TSquared Lab actually helped me realise how to do it the right way, keep me safe and at the same time gave me the confidence to do the exercise on my own.

Describe how your experience training at TSquared Lab has been, how has it felt different from your past experiences to date?

I always look forward to my training days at TSquared Lab, sometimes it may sound strange because why do I want to go through that punishment on my own, but it is actually a chance for me to progress and become better and the overall experience is best described by having a friend to train with, having someone with whom you are comfortable to push your limits in a safe manner and in a way that you are taken care of.

What are some specific things you have learned while training with your coach?

Firdauz, my coach actually helped me understand the proper techniques while executing the exercises. Besides making sure that it is the correct way to do the exercises it also maximises the workout, it makes it more effective and efficient because I now understand how to target the muscles I want to train so for me that was the key learning. I was working out on my own initially and also took care of my nutrition but I started to see the results after I started focusing on the proper techniques so that was really helpful for me.

What are some of the changes you noticed in yourself over the weeks/months of training at TSquared Lab?

The changes that I noticed in myself are two things, firstly I noticed more veins popping up in my arms, in my legs and I guess Firdauz finds a new vein every time I train and the other thing is that I started to see some lines in my core area and for me, it is an accomplishment because I never really reached that leave of leanness on my own so its a huge accomplishment and it is actually surprising in a way because my training program does not focus on my core yet it still managed to make it more visible and that is when I actually realised that the training program actually works.

What were some of the challenges or fears you had before starting or during the training program?

The biggest challenge I had was becoming comfortable at the gym floor. For me being at the gym floor is always intimidating and I realised that is because I did not have the knowledge or the experience. I feared that I would not know what to do and I would be a laughing stock and that was one of the reasons that motivated me to join TSquared Lab and find myself a personal trainer. When I started doing the exercises I know the right technique and Firdauz teaches me and explains me how things should be done. It actually made me more confident in executing those exercises and I think being in a gym environment helped me understand that everyone is trying to train on their own, everyone is trying to reach their own personal goals no one actually minds you so it is in a way being immersed in that environment actually helped me realise that and overcome those fears.

What do you love the most about TSquared Lab?

What I love the most about TSquared Lab is the overall ambiance of respect. Everytime I am at the gym floor on my training days I can see how the trainers are actually listening to their clients, taking good care of them and for me that is really a big factor in becoming comfortable at the gym floor.

Recall a significant or memorable moment while training at TSquared Lab.

There was a time when my coach Firdauz went on a service leave and CX was my temporary trainer and it was memorable. During some of the exercises he actually stopped counting to a point that it made me understand that I am doing more than I should be and because I was so focused on proving him that I can do it, I actually did not end up protesting at all. After the session my legs were so jelly and it actually made me realise that sometimes you need someone to push you to that potential to make you understand that the things you thought you cannot do, you can actually do it.

What kind of people would you recommend to TSquared Lab?

I would recommend TSquared Lab to anyone who wants to take their fitness to the next level. Whether you are a beginner or someone who has been training just like me. I have no doubts that these trainers will give you new learnings or new knowledge in your fitness journey because they are here for a reason. They will guide you, train you, and ensure that you achieve your goals.

What would you tell someone who is unsure of joining TSqaured Lab?

I would say take advantage of their consultation, TSquared Lab will invest in understanding what your fitness goals are and they will always find a training program that fits for you, and having that conversation will help you understand them even better.

Any final words for your coach?

Thank you so much. I had no doubts that you would be helping me quite significantly and knowing someone who would help me every single time, and seeing those results keeps me really motivated and as I have already said you have always made me feel comfortable at the gym floor and pampered me I am really grateful for that so thank you once again.

Anything else you would like to share?

I think there is one more thing that I would like to share, is that I still lost a lot of weight, 5 additional kgs, and 8% body fat even though I was having my daily stash of chocolates and icecreams and that still amazes me because, for someone who never had enough knowledge on fitness right, we were so exposed to the fact that we need to avoid all these stuff but in reality, you don't have to. There is a training program where you can fit it in, although I sacrificed my calories it is still fun when you have your ice cream and chocolates.

1. Sascha had a clear goal:

Before starting the training program, Sascha was clear about his fitness goal and the results that he wanted to achieve. He had already been training for 4 years on his own but through this training program, he wanted to learn the correct form of the exercises and get leaner.

Since Sascha wanted to learn the correct form of the exercises and be comfortable at the gym he took the help of his coach Firdauz and educated himself well to be able to achieve his goals.

Sascha always considered his coach as a friend, and he trusted his coach with the training process. Firdauz helped him with how to do exercises the right way, kept him safe and at the same time gave him the confidence to do the exercise on his own.

4. Sascha was enjoying the change:

Sascha wanted to get lean and have more muscle definition and with his training he was able to achieve his desired results and lose an additional 5 kg weight and 8% of body fat without giving up on his daily stash of chocolates and icecreams.
