Before starting with TSquared Lab, Ansel was finding it difficult to climb up the stairs and he also wanted to prioritise his health as he entered his 50s.
Darren guided Ansel by slowly increasing the intensity of the workouts and structuring his diet in such a way that he was able to achieve his goals.
Ansel lost 10 kg of body weight and 5% body fat and also noticed a change while climbing up the stairs or doing lunges.
Ansel’s decision to join TSquared Lab was primarily driven by his health. "I signed up to TSquared Lab mainly because of my health reasons," he shares. "I also felt that I should find a professional gym instructor to help me through this fitness journey." This choice marked the beginning of a significant lifestyle shift, where Ansel was determined to overcome the challenges that had held him back.
Before joining TSquared Lab, Ansel struggled with simple physical tasks. "One of the challenges I faced was that I found it difficult to climb stairs," Ansel recalls. However, with Darren’s expert guidance, Ansel soon noticed a remarkable improvement. "After starting this program, I feel I can easily climb stairs without any problem." This early success fueled Ansel’s motivation to continue pushing forward.

The results of Ansel’s dedication and hard work speak volumes. "In this fitness journey, I have lost about 10 kg of body weight and 5% body fat," he proudly shares. These numbers represent more than just physical changes—they symbolise the renewed energy and confidence that Ansel gained throughout his journey.
His transformation was so significant that he had to update his wardrobe. "My proudest achievement is my weight loss, being able to change my wardrobe from XL to L, and of course, being more energetic."
Darren’s training program for Ansel was carefully designed to build strength and stamina progressively. "The program started off with very basic workouts like leg curls, bench press, and subsequently, it became a very comprehensive and intensive workout program like all the machine-based workouts," Ansel explains. Despite the intensity, Ansel appreciated the guidance Darren provided. "Although the workouts were strenuous and challenging, with the advice and guidance, my professional instructor Darren has always coached me and advised me on how to do the weights properly."
In addition to the physical workouts, Ansel made significant changes to his diet. "I used to drink sugary water and have fried stuff," he says. "After starting my fitness journey with Darren, I have conditioned myself not to have sugary water and also to cut down on the fried stuff. Initially, I was struggling to make the changes, but now when I see fried food, I avoid it." This shift in habits was challenging at first, but it became easier as Ansel began to see the benefits.

This supportive atmosphere helped Ansel stay committed to his goals and enjoy the process of transformation.
Ansel’s journey at TSquared Lab has been a rewarding experience filled with growth, learning, and achievements. He is grateful for Darren’s support and looks forward to continuing his healthy lifestyle. "Thank you, Darren, for guiding me through this journey and helping me achieve my goals.
