Sascha, a 34-year-old finance professional, had been working out on his own for years but struggled to achieve the lean, muscular physique he desired. He sought professional help at TSquared Lab, where he finally found the guidance and support needed to reach his goals.
“I lost a lot of weight, 5 additional kgs, and 8% body fat even though I was having my daily stash of chocolates and ice creams.”
Sascha had been training for 4 years on his own but he wasn’t getting the desired results. He wanted to get lean and have more muscle definition
Coach Firdauz helped Sascha improve his form and learn proper techniques while executing the exercises.
Through the training program, Sascha was able to overcome his fear of working out on the gym floor and achieve a new level of leanness, which he had never achieved before.
Sascha’s decision to join TSquared Lab was driven by the genuine care and attention he received during his initial consultation. “On the very first day when I did a free consultation, I felt they really invested time in understanding my needs and finding a program that would work for me. The warm welcome every time I come to train here really helps; it puts me at ease, making it easy to come back every training day,” Sascha shares.
With clear goals in mind—losing weight, getting lean, and building muscle definition—Sascha knew he needed expert guidance to address his concerns about proper exercise form, especially considering his slight spinal misalignment.
At TSquared Lab, Sascha worked closely with his coach, Firdauz, who played a crucial role in his transformation. “The training with Firdauz helped me realise how to do exercises the right way, keeping me safe and giving me the confidence to execute them on my own,” Sascha explains. “I always look forward to my training days at TSquared Lab. It feels like training with a friend—someone who pushes you to your limits in a safe and supportive way.”
Sascha learned the importance of proper technique, which maximised the effectiveness of his workouts. “Before, I was working out on my own and focusing on nutrition, but I started to see real results only after I learned the correct techniques. That was key for me,” Sascha says.
The genuine customer care made me choose to train at TSquared Lab. I felt that they really invested time in understanding my needs and finding a program that would work for me.”

Over the weeks and months of training at TSquared Lab, Sascha began to see remarkable changes in his body. “I noticed more veins popping up in my arms and legs, and I started to see lines in my core area. For me, that’s a huge accomplishment because I never reached that level of leanness on my own,” Sascha shares proudly.
Despite his indulgence in daily chocolates and ice cream, Sascha managed to lose an additional 5 kg and 8% body fat.
One of the biggest challenges Sascha faced was overcoming his fear of the gym floor. “I was always intimidated by the gym floor because I didn’t have the knowledge or experience. I feared that I wouldn’t know what to do and would become a laughingstock. That’s one of the reasons I joined TSquared Lab,” Sascha admits.
With Firdauz’s guidance, Sascha gained the confidence to execute exercises correctly and realized that everyone at the gym was focused on their own goals. “Being immersed in that environment helped me overcome my fears,” he says.

Sascha recalls a significant moment during his training when his coach, Firdauz, was on leave, and CX temporarily took over. “During some exercises, CX stopped counting, which made me push beyond what I thought I could do. After the session, my legs were like jelly, but it made me realise that sometimes you need someone to push you to your potential,” Sascha remembers.
For Sascha, the ambiance of respect at TSquared Lab is what he loves the most. “Every time I’m on the gym floor, I see how the trainers listen to their clients and take good care of them. That’s a big factor in becoming comfortable at the gym,” he says.
Sascha’s advice to anyone considering joining TSquared Lab is to take advantage of their consultation. “TSquared Lab will invest in understanding your fitness goals and will always find a training program that fits you. Having that conversation will help you understand them better,” he suggests.

Reps In Reserve (RIR) are the number of reps or repetitions you can accomplish before hitting a technical failure or before you miss a lift. And technical failure means that you cannot do another rep without proper form. Therefore, RIR is an effective tool to measure the intensity of your workout.
During an exercise set, time under tension (TUT) means the amount of time a muscle is put under strain in a particular exercise. With UT workouts, each phase of the workout is extended, which results in longer workout sets.
